Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 May 2026
These Terms govern your use of Keyro, a self-drive rental, driver-on-hire, and kids-safe school-pickup platform operated by MEETINGAI QUANTUM SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED, a company incorporated in India ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Indian driving licence to rent a self-drive vehicle.
- You must complete identity and licence verification (KYC) before your first booking.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information at all times.
2. The service
Keyro is a marketplace connecting:
- Buddies (renters) who want to rent vehicles or hire drivers.
- Hosts (owners) who list their vehicles for rent.
- Captains (drivers) who offer their driving services.
Keyro is not the owner of the vehicles listed and is not the employer of the drivers. The actual rental and driving services are provided directly between the parties; Keyro facilitates the booking, payment, and dispute process.
3. Bookings and payments
- All bookings are confirmed only after full payment (or the agreed deposit) is captured via Razorpay.
- Prices, fuel policy, kilometre limits, security deposit, and late-return charges are displayed before booking. By confirming, you accept them.
- Refunds are processed according to the cancellation rules shown at booking time. Refunds are credited to your original payment method within 5–7 working days.
- You authorise Keyro to charge additional amounts for damage, traffic violations, fuel shortfall, cleaning, or late return, when supported by evidence.
4. Buddy (renter) responsibilities
- Carry the original driving licence during the trip. Police checks and accident claims require it.
- Drive within the speed limits and obey all Indian traffic laws.
- Do not drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any prohibited substance.
- Do not sublet, transfer, or allow any unverified person to drive the vehicle.
- Return the vehicle on time, in the same condition, with the agreed fuel level.
- You are personally and financially responsible for all traffic challans, parking fines, and toll charges incurred during your booking, including those that arrive after the trip ends.
5. Host (owner) responsibilities
- The vehicle must have valid registration (RC), insurance, PUC (pollution), and fitness certificates at all times.
- Maintain the vehicle in safe, roadworthy condition.
- Honour confirmed bookings; cancellations without valid reason may result in penalty and account suspension.
6. Captain (driver) responsibilities
- Hold a valid commercial or LMV driving licence appropriate to the vehicle.
- Arrive on time, drive safely, and behave professionally with passengers.
- Comply with all motor vehicle and labour regulations.
7. Damage, accidents, and insurance
- You must report any accident, damage, or theft to Keyro and the host immediately, and file a police FIR where required by law or insurance.
- The security deposit may be partially or fully forfeited to cover damages or insurance excess.
- Insurance covers third-party liability and own-damage as per the policy held by the vehicle. Personal items inside the vehicle are not insured.
8. Prohibited use
The vehicle must not be used for:
- Racing, off-road driving, or stunts.
- Carrying illegal goods, contraband, or hazardous materials.
- Commercial passenger transport (e.g. ride-hailing) unless explicitly authorised by the host and matching the vehicle permit.
- Driving outside India, or outside the geographic range agreed at booking.
9. Account suspension and termination
Keyro may suspend or terminate an account at any time for breach of these Terms, fraud, repeated cancellations, abusive behaviour, or for safety reasons. Pending bookings will be refunded subject to the cancellation policy.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Keyro's total liability arising from a booking is limited to the booking value paid for that trip. Keyro is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app and by email. Continued use of Keyro after a change means you accept the new Terms.
